The project consisted of an existing, 20,000 SF, 100 year old historic brick school building and a new 25,000 SF building and a link between the two. The finished building included the administrative offices for DaySpring, 22 two and three bedroom apartments, counseling and gathering spaces, four Head Start classrooms and exterior courtyards and play areas. The project was funded by historic tax credits and we were required to meet several strict requirements for the old school building.
